The marine gearbox Model 135 has the capability of reduction, working ahead or astern, engaging and disengaging the clutch and standing the thrust by running propeller. It is of compact construction with reliability. Reduction ratio: i=2-6
It is advised to read thoroughly the Manual with care before service to get good performance and maintenances.
The construction of the gearbox will be somewhat improved at regular intervals, no notice is issued except in the Manual revised.

Working Principle
Transmission system
The transmission of marine gearbox Model 135 is through 5 helical claster gears with 3 shafts. The primary reduction and two sets clutches for ahead and astern are arranged in parallel.
Construction Description
The gearbox consists of following parts and components:
1. Input Shaft Assembly
The input shaft consists of master gear, torsion bar, bell housing, transmission gear and input transmission seat is shrink fit with transmission gears, commecting with tousion bar through integral key. The bell housing is located at the of gearbox to facilitate the renwal of clutch plate.
2. Transmission Shaft Assembly
The Construction of transmission shaft is essentially similar to he input shaft.
3. Output Shaft Assembly
The output shaft consists of bearings, driven gear, output shaft and output coupling. The driven gear is shrunk on the output shaft which connected with output coupling by spline.
4. Casing Assembly
The casing assembly mainly of casing , front and rear cover, oil punp, oil scale and filter. The type of pump is BB-B25A-1
5. Oil Distributor Assembly
The assembly consists of distributor carrier, ilter, working pressure gquge and hydlic control assembly. Filter needs cleaning periodically. The construction and working principle are detailed in the manual of hydraulic control systemn part.
6. Input Coupling Assembly
The input end of gearbox is fit with rubber high flexible coupling, which is internal toothed ring isconnected with engine flywheel by bolts. There are bell housing of SAEJ67C No.0 and No.1 and internal toothed rings that can be coupled with flywheels of SAEJ620d14#,16#,18#.
7. Cooler Assembly
When installing, the inlet temperature of cooling water is required to be less than 32, cooling water and oil should flowing contrary to get good cooling results.
When the ambient temperature is below 0, and the gearbox out of work, drain out water completely from cooler.
